Re: Cancellation of the November 12, 2020 Annual General Meeting
Dear Community Centre Members & Guests:
I am writing on behalf of the Board, the Greentree Village Community Centre
Association.
This notice is further to discussions held at the GVCCA pre-AGM information
session on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, wherein concerns were raised
about the conducting of the Annual General Meeting as a “restricted proxy
meeting”. Subsequent to those discussions, the Board has determined that
the November 12, 2020 meeting will be cancelled.
The Board had intended to hold the Annual General Meeting as an electronic
attendance meeting with limited in person capacity for those members
unfamiliar with the Zoom meeting platform; however, in light of the revised
Provincial COVID-19 guidance issues on November 7, 2020 that is being
reconsidered.
We will update the membership further as soon as a decision has been
made.
