ABOUT US

Greentree Village Community Centre is a non-profit society established in 1975 to provide community services to the neighbourhood of Greentree Village located in the heart of Burnaby, BC. The Centre is funded by the 5 stratas and select owners of Greentree Village and is open to owner-members only with each member able to sign in up to 4 guests.

Filming & Rental 

Greentree Village Community Centre is open to filming and rental inquiries subject to availability of the centre, the pool, and its facilities and pending approval by the board of directors.  Please email us with details about your inquiry and we will endeavour to respond in a timely manner.

Greentree Village Park Community Garden

Recently a group of interested Greentree Residents met with Kai Okazaki, a Social Planner from the City of Burnaby, regarding the pilot project to start a Community Garden in Greentree Village Park. He explained that the ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY GARDEN PROGRAM was in its infancy and the structures of how it would be run were still being developed. The report to Council about the Garden Program can be found here, this report shows the proposed location of the garden. Kai is open to working with the Greentree Community and will update us as the project and the Garden Program moves along. Anyone who is interested in being a part of this project is encouraged to join the Greentree Community Garden Facebook page.

Many neighbours are offering help and support, as well as items for sale, on the Greentree Facebook Page. This is a closed group for residents of Greentree Village only. Please be aware that when you apply you will be asked a few questions about your address. If you leave these questions unanswered you won’t be able to join. The mediators of the group ensure the group is for residents only.
